Who is BOOTech anyway?

BOOTech, Inc. President Jim Lindsay has over twenty years experience as a specialty bootfitter and pedorthist. He was a founding Director of the Performance Centers of Aspen, the first compehensive on-snow movement analysis facility, and is on the faculty of The Aspen Foundation for Sports Medicine Education and Research. He was a featured speaker at the 2001 SIA show in Las Vegas.

BOOTech, Inc. also provides consulting and training services within the Ski Industry.

Clients include Retailers, Manufacturers, PSIA, Race Academies and race service departments from several top skiing companies.

In addition to our Aspen Highlands location BOOTech, Inc. attends a variety of race camps and academies providing services to many of the top skiers in the country.

Past and previous clients include many current and former U.S Ski Team Athletes, PSIA National Demo Team members, Race coaches, and thousands of other skiers from all walks of life and all ability levels. Skiers just like you!

Do I need to buy new boots or can my existing equipment be used?

If your boots are in good condition and generally well suited to your needs BOOTech, Inc. can work with them. It is particularly important that the sole be in a new or like new condition to ensure accurate results. BOOTech, Inc. also sells new ski boots by Rossignol, Salomon, Lange and Tecnica.

Are on snow services available?

Yes. BOOTech, Inc. can provide on snow movement analysis of your skiing.This can be of benefit not only in the area of alignment but equipment recommendations as well. We also enjoy an excellent relationship with the Ski and Snowboard Schools of Aspen and are always happy to refer a Ski Pro for further improvement.

Will my boots require additional service or special care?

Believe it or not, most skiers do not require additional fitting after skiing in their Smarter Ski Boots. Because the boots match you so perfectly they don’t hurt. Should the need for further adjustment be required BOOTech, Inc. provides any additional services at no charge. It is very important to protect the sole of the boot from excessive wear and contamination. This is true of any ski boot and helps to ensure proper binding function and a long service life.
